SMART refers to Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Technology. SMART Fun Day is organized by the CUHK Sports Medicine Team, Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology, Faculty of Medicine, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, with the support of various local and international sporting organizations.

 

Since 2007, “SMART Fun Day” (previously known as “Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Technology (SMART) Convention & Expo”) is the first-ever event of this scale in Hong Kong which aims to improve the professional standard of exercise-for-health services and rehabilitation services after sports and occupational injuries, as well as to encourage all segments of society to enjoy the benefits of exercise. SMART Fun Day have been a popular event among all walks of lives. It has been a great platform for the general public, professionals and sports related personnel to connect and share.

 

With the theme of “Love Sport, Play Smart”, it aims to invite two target group to join this year: Sports Lovers and Health Seekers. Apart from a series of Sports and health talks, many doctors, physiotherapists, Fitness trainers and other scholars and professionals in the field of Sports Medicine are invited for sharing and demonstration. Participants can enjoy the benefits of exercise and knowledge in Sports Medicine through different types of activities!

 

CCE accreditation:

The Hong Kong Coaching Committee has approved 11 hours and 10 minutes CCE hours (depends on actual attend hours) for attending 14-15 Oct 2017 programme, for renewal as accredited coaches.
