1. To formulate short and long-term strategies for the development of coach education and accreditation programmes, with input from the national sports associations, and to monitor and evaluate implementation.

 

2. To liaise with national sports governing bodies, institutes of higher education within Hong Kong and overseas and any national coaching organisations concerning matters relating to coach education.

 

3. To raise coach recognition and status in the community.

 

4. To support national sports associations to develop and to implement their coaching programmes from Grass root to Elite levels.

 

5. To promote highest Ethical and Integrity standards to coaches of all levels.
