20^th September 2019

2^nd Programme of 2019-20 Jockey Club Coach Education - Community Education Programme was held on 20 September (Friday) afternoon. Students from various secondary schools who selected Physical Education as their Diploma of Secondary Education Examination elective subject, attended and had enhanced understanding to Hong Kong sports coaching and related system.

Ms. Rosanna Sze, Representative of Hong Kong Swimming Team, Adjunct Assistant Coach of Hong Kong Swimming Squad and graduate of Bachelor in Education in Sports Training in Beijing Sports University, shared her valuable experiences through a video. This aroused students’ interests in pursuing a career in sports coaching.

Students also understood more about the position as a sports coach through the observation of training session at the Swimming Complex, Badminton Hall, Wushu Hall and Fitness Training Centre.

Ms. Rosanna Sze, Representative of Hong Kong Swimming Team and Adjunct Assistant Coach of Hong Kong Swimming Squad, encouraged students in the video.

Dr. Masa Leung, Coach Education Manager, welcomed teacher and student attendees from 4 schools.

Students and teachers have all enjoyed the programme and fostered a deeper understanding and interest in sports coaching.
