2021 Jockey Club Continuing Coach Education Programme - Coaching Directors’ Forum
The Jockey Club Continuing Coach Education Programme – Coaching Directors’ Forum was held on 22 June (Tue) from 1730-1930 at online video conferencing. This year’s theme is “Online Coaching and Coach Education Programmes under the New Normal Generation”. Mr. Yip Po Lam, Chairperson of the Coaching Commission, Volleyball Association of Hong Kong, and two representatives from Hong Kong Squash: Mr. Jovi Au, Coaching & Development Manager and Mr. Yeung Ho Wai, Regional Coach-in-charge were invited to share experiences in how to manage a team online and help athletes maintain a training routine to ensure progress. 40 NSA coaching directors and representatives from 22 NSAs met online to share and discuss the topic. The Coach Education Department also took the chance to update the participants about the latest news of 2021/22 coach education programmes.
The annual forum builds rapport between NSA partners and Coach Education staff.
