In view of the current situations, the 28th Jockey Club Elite Coaches Conference will be changed to recorded presentations and recordings will be uploaded to the Learning Management System “Blackboard” starting from 25 January 2021.

The Conference investigates different aspects of the "Controlling the Spread of Infectious Diseases in Sport". We are very honored to have Dr. Zhan Hui, Associate Director of the National Institute of Sports Medicine, General Administration of Sport of China to cover the "Medical and Healthcare System of China National Team" and "Returning to International Events" with real-life example to illustrate the medical system of China National Team as well as the experience and application of relaunching international events. Moreover, Professor Yung Shu-Hang Patrick, JP, Chairman, Dept. of Orthopaedics & Traumatology, Head of Sports Medicine Team,Faculty of Medicine, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, President, Hong Kong Association of Sports Medicine & Sports Science, President, Asian Federation of Sports Medicine will cover "Medical Considerations & Contributions" while Dr. Lee Chi-Wo Daniel, Associate Director, Hong Kong Sports Institute will share the measures and experience of Hong Kong Sports Institute in dealing with COVID-19.

Due to the change of delivery mode, the enrollment deadline will be further extended to 15 January 2021. The enrolment fee will then be adjusted from HK$250 to $150 for HKCC Accredited Coach while from HK$300 to $180 for others.

Participants will receive the Blackboard login details on 25 January 2021 for viewing recordings and complete assessments (by multiple choice questions) before 26 February. Result on the number of hours accredited will be released through email by end of March 2021. If you wish to receive a printed certificate, please expect an administration fee of HK$30 and self-collection at the Hong Kong Sports Institute is required.
