After years of part time study, ten students from Wushu, Swimming and Basketball of the Class 13 and Class 15 of the Beijing Sport University Bachelor of Education Programme in Sports Training have overcome the challenges posed by the pandemic, and received their recognitions at the online graduation ceremony on 26th September, 2021. The occasion also served as the First Assembly for the Class 18 and Class 20 students. 

 

To date, 102 graduates have become alumni of the programme since the inauguration of the programme in 1999.

 

The online ceremony was started with the opening speeches by Mr Tony Yue Kwok-leung BBS MH JP, the Chairman of the Hong Kong Coaching Committee and Dr Hu Bin, Dean of Beijing Sport University Continuing Education School.  Followed by the announcement of graduates list of Class 13 and Class 15 by Dr. Hu.

A total of HK$78,000 in scholarship was also awarded to six students from Class 18 and Class 20, to recognise their good academic performances.

Despite being an online ceremony, the graduates expressed their gratitude to the lecturers of Beijing Sport University for their heartfelt teaching and the supports from the staff of HKSI throughout their study in their graduation gown.  Both the graduates and the incumbent students were able to give each others encouragement through a video recording of each of their reflections and blessings.
