The HKSI International Sports Science Symposium, sponsored by Mr Ming Wai Lau will be held on 28-29 October 2016 at the Hong Kong Sports Institute. The symposium is jointly organised by HKSI, Hong Kong Association of Sports Medicine and Sports Science, Hong Kong Dietitians Association, and Hong Kong Nutrition Association. The theme of this year’s symposium is Applied Sport Nutrition – From Science to Plate. The purpose of the symposium is to transmit knowledge and exchange views on the current trends and issues in sports nutrition, and foster closer collaboration among professionals in sports medicine, sports science, and sports coaching. The presentations will be conducted in English while simultaneous interpretation to Cantonese is available. For the workshops, they will be conducted in Cantonese only.

The Hong Kong Coaching Committee has approved 8 hours 40mins (520mins) CCE hours for attending 28-29 October 2016 programme, for renewal as accredited coaches.
