Jockey Club High Performance Coaches Development – “Ceaseless Advancement of High Performance Wushu Coaches during COVID-19” was held via video conferencing on 21 May 2020.  Head Wushu Coach of Hong Kong Sports Institute Mr. Lam Hong Kwai and seven HKSI Wushu coaches met with twenty-three high-level community coaches at the online platform, shared their experience and thoughts on training and retraining of athletes under COVID-19.  Mr. Kwan Chi-cheung, Vice-President of Hong Kong Wushu Union,also shared his views and led the fruitful discussion throughout the process.

Altogether 31 high-level Wushu coaches met at the online platform for the sharing.

The programme focused on coaches’ measures and experiences aroused from COVID-19.  Dr. Masa Leung, Coach Education Manager, took the role of facilitation.
